The Make It Safe Project Writing Scholarship: 2023 SUBMISSIONS

Remember: you must identify as queer or trans, live in the United States (with or without documentation), AND be between 13-18 years old at the time of submission. Submitting gives us the right to publish your work in an upcoming anthology if your piece is a winner, runner up, or anthology selection. For other requirements, please see the scholarship page here.

Privacy policy: Submissions will be visible to scholarship judges and, if applicable, in the anthology. All other information provided below will solely be visible to The Make It Safe Project staff listed on the "Our Team" page. At the conclusion of the scholarship judging process, all information listed below from non-winning entries will be deleted from our records to preserve the submitter's confidentiality.
